What kind of story do you want to tell? What kind of hero do you want to be? Name * First Name Last Name Email * Are you associated with a player group? If so, what's its name, or who's its main point of contact? You've just finished a major encounter- which rewards would you be most excited to find? * A magic ring that enhances your defenses. An ornate melee weapon with an interesting enchantment or power. A map to a lost treasure in a far away land. Evidence linking someone with political power to a sinister cult. A cryptic puzzle box or an item whose properties take work to be discovered. A gem that when touched is absorbed into your skin that grants you a strange new ability A wondrous item, determined randomly or chosen by the DM. The deed to a small castle, mansion, ship, starship, or bar. A dusty old tome full of secrets, recipes, or spells. Knowledge is power! A huge pile of gold or easily liquidated gems, art, etc. (I will buy what I want.) Increased rank in an organization, knighthood, or nobility. Something cute to look after, like a pet or a sidekick. Access to a veteran trainer that can help you unlock advanced techniques in magic or melee. The friends we made along the way. What's not on that list but should be? Player priorities * I am here for combat! Loot! Swords and sorcery! Strongly Disagree Disagree Neutral Agree Strongly Agree Social Encounters are my bag! Elaborate on your favorite or suggest something not listed. On the subject of character death... * I don't mind, it's the risk adventurers run. I hope it's a meaningful death but a random/funny death is fine with me too. I would strongly prefer for it to be a meaningful death, and super dramatic. I would prefer my character not dying. If I die, I'd like for there to be a possibility for resurrection. If I die, I'd like for the option to come back as a sentient Undead. If I die, I'd like it to be final. I'm actually looking forward to my character's death, and would like to set it up. Actually, I really really... REALLY wish my character wouldn't die, period What depictions of violence or death are you comfortable with? * No blood or gore, most fall unconscious, or death kept abstract. Minor violence described, death glossed over. Blood for the blood god! Just don't lean into the gore. Grim, gritty, and graphic. Detail appropriate to the encounter. Everything's on the table, but fade to black and imply the worst of it. Bring it on. I revel in the chaos and carnage.
